Hi there(: I use multiple modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, Thai, and Craniosacral, as well as a general curiosity for the human body and anything that promotes healing to help with your individual therapeutic and relaxation needs.
Originally from Virginia, I attended an immersion massage program in Costa Rica, and followed a calling to California where I have been practicing and studying bodywork for over twelve years. I have since earned a certification in Craniosacral Therapy, in addition to holding a master's degree in Leadership and Counseling.
I'm obsessed with foothill life and our quaint little town with beauty and adventures in every direction. Looking forward to seeing you!
Kristen attended the Calaveras College of Therapeutic Massage in San Andreas in 2012 where she learned human anatomy and manual techniques to address physical ailments using healing touch. Training included Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, and she has additionally earned a certification in the Graston© Technique, a form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization.
Renee comes to us from El Dorado Hills where she also has a private practice. She brings over 30 years industry experience in massage therapy, chiropractic physiotherapy, physical therapy, and athletic training. She has a BS in Kinesiology from Chapman University and applies a multidisciplinary approach to her therapies. She is proficient in multiple modalities including cupping, active-release therapy, and is now a Certified Lymphedema Therapist offering lymphatic drainage!
Marissa has been a Massage Therapist for almost 25 years. She focuses on deep tissue, reflexology, acupressure, aromatherapy, and therapeutic body treatments. She also has Certificate in Medical Assisting.
"I chose to become a Massage Therapist after experiencing the major benefits of massage. After being involved in a serious car accident I followed a rigorous schedule receiving massage. The therapist that worked on me was miraculous with her ability to heal me. I chose to help others like she helped me and I also went to the same school.
My goal is to keep your muscles relaxed while being able to get deep enough to make a difference. I specialize in deep tissue, sports, acupressure, and I understand what a great and beneficial foot massage is all about!"
We hope to see you at or little sanctuary soon!
